This is a wonderful example of the very detailed musical instruments produced by Emenee Industries in the early 1960’s. This red, white and blue toy accordion is complete with the original simulated alligator case (paper cardboard), plastic handle, song book and instructions and original plastic strap.
The Emenee Industries was organized in New York in 1949 to manufacture organs and toy musical instruments. Emenee made some really nice toys, but they were mostly known for their Musical Instruments. They were very cool smaller versions of adult instruments that we kids could actually play and actually sound pretty good too. Each instrument was made with great detail and nice extras.
SIZE: The accordion measures 9 ¼” high, 8 ½” wide (when closed), 4 ½” deep.
CONDITION: This toy is in good vintage condition. The original plastic strap is in good condition. The plastic case of the accordion has no cracks. The keys move and the accordion makes great sounds. The original booklet is complete and in good condition. The case is complete and in good condition. The front of the bellows is in good condition. The back of the bellows has an area that has separated but I believe it can be easily fixed but I will let that to you. Please see the detailed photos for condition.
