Sooooooo pretty!! Oh my gosh - this ring!! Everything princess + elegance and feminine describes this gorgeous designer aquamarine and diamond ring. I'm not sure you can find much prettier than this!
Signed by designer Zac Posen, from the Truly Zac Posen line, this beautiful modern-day ring is composed of stamped 14kt rose and yellow gold - an unusual yet oh-so-striking combination of gold. So warm and luxurious, the ring holds a water-clean natural aquamarine, oval-cut, measuring 7.93 x 6.05mm, for an estimated carat weight of 1.00ct. Completely eye-clean with a light, slightly grayish greenish-blue color, the aquamarine is surrounded by a scalloped open halo that alternates between smaller and larger diamonds, almost like a crown.
The diamonds, 48 in total, run both within the 'halo' as well as down the sides of the shank in a crossover split-shank design. The largest diamonds (4 in total) measure 2.12 to 2.15mm round-cut, for a total of 0.15ct, with clean Si2-I1 clarity (no visible inclusions) and white 'G' color. The remaining 44 diamonds measure between 1.02mm to 1.36mm, adding approximately 0.34ct more to the diamond weight. They too have Si2-I1 clarity and G-H color, with a combined total of 0.49ct per our gemologist's grading.
Detailed beautifully, the bottom half of the ring is where the yellow gold and rose gold mix, with almost a 'double band' of gold: yellow on the inside against one's finger, and rose on the exterior. Clearly hallmarked and stamped 14k, the ring is a solid and strong 5.50 grams. Currently it is approximately a US size 5.25 to 5.50 (inner diameter 16mm which is equivalent to 5 3/8). Sizing will be possible within a range, and the underside of the shank leads back into only rose gold, so the two-tone yellow and rose combination shouldn't be disturbed with sizing unless you require considerable sizing down.
Currently appraised in 2021 for $3700.00 CAD ($2900+ USD) before tax. Appraisal is included with purchase. Condition is excellent and appears unworn.
This ring fits so many occasions, including making a gorgeous 'something blue' engagement ring. Sparkle and beauty galore - what's not to love?!

Our Service Pledge
I try to respond to all emails and orders within 24 hours. If you don't hear from me, or don't get an invoice after you have placed a purchase order, please check your SPAM mail in case our invoice or reply has landed in there. I always reply to your emails and send out invoices directly from Ruby Lane within a few hours of receiving your purchase order. Our customers are most important to us.Payments we accept:
Other Information
In all cases, we prefer payment via online INTERAC for our Canadian customers. Please enquire.RESTOCKING FEE: We no longer charge a restocking fee per Ruby Lane's new 2024 guidelines. However, as of 2023, Paypal NO LONGER refunds seller fees to us in the case of a return/refund, meaning we will be at a loss should you require a refund. In this case, if you have paid via PAYPAL: ALL monies paid to us will be refunded LESS the fees that Paypal has taken and not refunded to us. For example, should you pay $1000, Paypal will generally take about 3.9 to 4.5% of that in fees depending on your location. That would be about $39 to $45 that will be kept by Paypal if we then have to issue you a refund. In this case, we would refund you $1000 minus the Paypal fee percentage, for a refund of $955 to $961.** This is an example ONLY. No figures are quoted as exact.
If paying via check, a similar situation applies, except based around Exchange Rates. As we are Canadian-based, if a check is sent for $1000 USD, and in Canadian dollars, on the day it's deposited the bank rate equals $1250 Canadian, any negative difference in exchange will affect your overall refund, as the bank exchange rate fees are constantly changing. For example, if on the day of refund that $1250 Canadian equals an exchange rate of $985 USD, you will be refunded $985 USD.
LAYAWAY POLICY:
We do accept LAYAWAY on items over $1000. 3 months or less is preferred. Items or orders over $2500 can be negotiated for longer terms.
Terms: We ask for a 1/4 to 1/3 down at the time you place your purchase order. If a down payment has not been received within 14 days of placing your order, orders will be canceled unless other arrangements have been made beforehand. After that, generally, the balance is paid over a 3-4 month period at your convenience with no interest charged. Please contact us to discuss your layaway needs if you need other arrangements.
We are happy to offer layaway on items $1000 - $2499 for a period of 3 months. Items over $2500 may be put on layaway for a maximum 6 months. All items MUST BE PAID in full by the end of the agreed upon layaway period or will be subject to penalties/fees as follows:
PENALTIES:
1) If you have an item on layaway and cancel your order once payments have begun, we retain 15% of the TOTAL sale price of the item, and refund/return the remainder of what you've paid to that point.
More importantly: Should your order become DORMANT (no payment or contact made/received within 2 months from last payment/correspondence) OR 3 attempts to make contact and/or "payment reminders" have been sent over the course of the layaway (ie: we regularly have to send non-payment reminders to receive a payment), OR if less than 25% of the layaway total has been received at the halfway mark, we have the right to cancel the layaway, and retain 50% of the TOTAL item price, or the full 25% paid if only 25% or less has been received. You will always be sent a FINAL NOTICE before this occurs to give you every benefit of remedying the situation.
2) If a 3 month layaway has gone over 9 months, or a 6 month layaway over a year due to a buyer insisting they will complete their layaway and just need more time, with limited or no further payments beyond the original layaway length, we reserve the right to cancel the original purchase order and retain the FULL monies paid to date.
3) There are NO RETURNS on Layaway items under any circumstances. We may consider an EXCHANGE for an equally-priced item for exceptional circumstances. Absolutely no exchanges on layaways that have well-exceeded their original set length (ie, 3 month layaway becomes a 7 month layaway).
*****A NOTE REGARDING OUR APPRAISALS: As it's important to us to share with you the exact gemological details of our pieces ie: diamond/gemstone carat weight, clarity, color, cut etc., for many of our rare and/or hi-end pieces, we pay to have appraisals done. There are all sorts of appraisals, from bare-minimum on the spot quick assessments to heavy, detailed reports, current/market price appraisals to insurance replacement value appraisals that take into consideration the cost of replacing an item 5, 10, 20 years from now.
The appraisals of ours that you see from GEM LAB in Toronto are insurance replacement appraisals, not current market-price appraisals. That is why our asking prices are always so much less than the values stated on Gem Lab appraisals. Many retailers will charge within 10% of an appraisal price. Sometimes this adds up to you paying too much currently for an item if it's a replacement value appraisal. Other times, it'll have you paying right on the money what something is currently worth. With our pieces graded by Gem Lab, unless very rare or designer/signed, you'll see that we usually only ask about 30-35% of the appraisal price, because we know that the appraisal is for 'replacement' purposes, not current retail/market prices. Through research & knowledge, we price our pieces competitively, yet very fairly to give you not only a great deal, but the BEST deal we can afford to offer you.
And of course, as all our pieces are estate, pre-owned, or antique pieces, their condition, age, rarity etc. will all determine our final price with you. Rare, antique pieces in exceptional condition will always cost slightly more than a comparable piece that is say, only 40 years old, even if carat for carat they're the same. Other pieces you'll save even more on because they show love & wear! Wear will always be stated in our listings, so you know exactly what you're getting!!
