Set in clearly stamped polished 18k/750 white gold, with filigree-style cut-outs and millegrain beading, these articulated earrings hold high quality white diamonds and fancy-cut round Tanzanite center gems. The Tanzanite, each measuring approximately 6.40mm, are estimated to weigh about 1 to 1.10ct each. The depth is immeasurable in the setting, so we can't get an exact weight, but based on their diameter, we're looking at 2.00cts minimum combined. Beautifully mixed with both blue & purple saturation, the Tanzanite have a unique 'star' like cut which is especially noticeable under direct lighting as our pictures show. As no two gems are exactly alike, the Tanzanite have slight tonal variations to each other, but as a pair, are as wonderful a match as possible for this style of earring.

The mountings are so stunning! Square, or even 'asscher' shaped holding the Tanzanite, and hanging from diamond-studded 'hoops', the earrings hold 29 diamonds each, for a total of 58 diamonds. The 18kt gold is stamped with '0.700', representing the diamond carat weight for the pair. These diamonds are excellent, high quality gems, falling within the VS-SI clarity range and white F-G color. All are individually bead-set, holding them securely in place!

The earrings measure 1 inch from top to bottom, and the main Tanzanite dangle section measures approximately 12mm wide, or just under 1/2 inch. Together they weigh 6.125g, and the back of the hoop section is marked '18kG750' along with a mark which would be the maker's mark, though we don't recognize the designer.
