One of our favorites always, Padparadscha Sapphires are not only the rarest colour in the sapphire family, but in my opinion, perhaps the prettiest! Sanskrit for "lotus blossom", and often resembling the colours of a sunset, this gem is a beautiful & delicate blend of pink & orange, creating a gorgeous sherbert display of colour!
This darling Padparadscha sapphire ring is exactly that, with its central gem weighing 1.08ct and deemed as having "no evidence of heat treatment". Measuring 7.50 x 5.30 x 3.10mm oval-cut, her clarity is beautifully transparent, with just a tiny display of crystal inclusions, having not being melted away by heating. Her colour is vibrant yet delicate, bright yet pastel, with a perfect sunset pink-orange hue.
Set in stamped 14kt white gold, on either side of the sapphire sit 2 diamonds, one baguette and one round cut. The 2 round brilliant cut diamonds weigh about 0.12ct combined, with clean VS1 to Si2 clarity and white F-G colour. The tapered baguette diamonds weigh a combined 0.10ct, with superb VVS1 to VS1 clarity and again white F-G colour. Excellent diamonds, in total, weighing 0.22ct.
The ring is currently between a US size 7 1/4 to 7 1/2, and sizing shouldn't be problematic at all. Please always inquire about sizing before placing your order should it be required. The shank is marked '14k' with what appears to be a maker's mark of perhaps CBG - not totally legible.
In beautiful condition with a fresh polish, she's ready & waiting to be yours! Always a popular choice, and a rare one at that, you can't go wrong with this special find!
Retail Replacement Value: $4100.00 CAD ($3100 USD) - certification included with purchase.
