Found in the English town of Grantham, here is a charming Victorian Work Box or Sewing box - today it would make a fine jewelry box. Walnut, with Mother of Pearl accent on top and at the working lock (key included). Inside has been restored with blue silk and has lots of little hidey-holes for your trinkets and treasures. Felt bottom. Measures about 10.5 inches wide, 5.5 inches tall and 7.5 inches deep. A very pretty piece that is priced to sell. Circa 1870.
