My English pickers always come through for me! Gorgeous English Georgian (ca. 1822) George III coin has been enameled on one side - condition is really quite lovely on the enamel work - features the intrepid St. George on his white steed slaying the Dragon. Set in a sturdy silver surround and made into a brooch (old style "c" clasp). Other than one old "gouge" on King George's neck, coin surface is quite clear. Measures 1.5 inches across, made of coin silver, weighs 1.12 ounces. A really handsome piece that is almost 200 years old! Your jeweler could easily turn this into a pendant if desired - if fact, another one is being offered on this site for over $600!
