This handsome spoon holder pattern was originally made by George Duncan & Sons, Pittsburgh, PA, c. 1890. It was reissued by The United States Glass Co. in 1891. This piece was made with a tri-mode, has six panels, and a scalloped top. It has heavy thick glass. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are the usual signs of use on the bottom of the base, and utensil marks on the inside bottom. The piece measures 5 in. tall x 3.5 in. wide.
