French Porcelain Cabinet Plate “Louis Phillipe Motif”

The cranberry or burgundy plate features a transfer of a painting by artist L. Simonnaud of a gentleman entertaining a young lady. The artist’s signature is below the painting. It has a reticulated border and detailed gold trim. It measures 10.5 in. wide. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, or crazing. We have another one of these listed with a green color and a different painting by the same artist.
