We found this piece locally. It was quarried from Tenino, WA Limestone and shipped by rail to a town about 40 miles away and installed in a classic Craftsman home. We rescued it directly from the home. It is in seven individual pieces- all perfect. The original mortar is nearly all gone. The top mantle board fits into the existing wall with a tongue while the rest of the mantle all sits on the wall face. Note the interesting branch with the hollowed out spot on the right side. That was a place to keep your matches. We have this piece at our warehouse. It's just too difficult to show it in the store, but we are happy to answer any questions or have you see it here by appointment. The photo really does not do this piece justice. Just email us below.
