Here is a table for big families or lots of entertaining. It extends to 13 feet in length with all 8 leaves installed that will seat about 14 or shrinks down to a generous 60″ round that will seat 6. This is a SOLID table: solid quarter sawn oak with no veneer- even on the molded skirt, and firm strong table to use. The four legs provide excellent support on the rim of the table and the hidden center leg adds additional support when the table is extended. The base locks with a simple handle and has a turnbuckle fitting to adjust the pedestals so they remain lined up and close tightly. The table has 8 quarter sawn leaves witch are 12″ wide each. This could easily work in an Arts & Crafts style house with it’s simple design, but the carved detail on the four legs gives it a little more class. Circa: 1900-1915 Size: 30.25″ Tall x 60″ Round extends to 13 Feet Floor to bottom of skirt is a generous 26.75″- great for tall people who like leg room.
