This majestic lamp is topped by one of the nicest art glass Burmese Shades I have seen. Whether lit or not, the colors are only enhanced by the delicate etched floral treatment surrounding the shade. The intense pink on the top gradually shades down to an opalescent and lighter pink on the main part of the shade. The lamp base itself is well marked with the Albion Lamp Company and Rippingille's patented Sunrise Burner- a duplex style burner. This British company was better known for it's heaters than it's lamps. The marble column and base are used in conjunction with the brass colored capital and base. Please note the small issue with the base collar, though it hasn't hurt the integrity of the column. It was electrified by someone who knew what he was doing. There is an inline switch for the lamp. We can ship this piece thru UPS or Fed Ex once we have a quote.
