This wonderful China doll is from the Civil War period, ca. 1880. She has black hair, blue eyes, tiny red slips and blush. She is marked “Germany” on the back of her shoulder plate. Her china is in great condition, no cracks or repairs. Her body also feels and looks solid and like it’s in excellent condition, but someone took it upon themselves to sew her underclothes on to her and they did do a good job. She has black boots with a V shape in the front with little white buttons along the side and painted blue bows just above. Shown is also a picture of her original outfit. Not much left of it, so all she needs is an outfit and she’ll be ready for the cabinet.
