By renowned German painter Nathaniel Sichel (1843-1907) is this stunning rendering of a young Oriental woman playing a musical instrument.
Entitled 'Woman with Harp' it is typical of Sichel. He was most noted for his portrait renderings of Middle Eastern woman. And I have several of his fine postcards in my inventory.
She proudly poses with her harp, attired in fine red and gold silk, as befits the daughter of a Sheik. The work is in fact sub-titled 'La Fille du Cheik'.
Postally un-used and clean verso it is numbered 3285 and issued by L&D.
With some corner creases it is in good Antique condition.
