From the early 20th century comes this wonderful Art Nouveau postcard with an un-divided back, featuring a beautiful maiden.
With a slightly Oriental flavor to her gown, she is dressed in dusty blue and has an upswept hairstyle also with a slightly Japanese Geisha atmosphere. She holds a jar in which we see a branch of cherry blossom displayed. In the muted water color style background we see the outline of a row of Poplars and rolling hills.
Published by M M Vienne and numbered 116 she is part of a series of beautiful Art Nouveau maidens.
Postally un-used and clean verso it is in very good Antique condition.
I have 5 more postcards in this series listed. If you are interested in purchasing the series please email me to discuss a special 'group price' for the set.
