Stamped and franked Germany 1900, this lovely old postcard has an un-divided back.
With tiny spidery writing to the front, which I cannot read because it is in German, it features a romantic scene of two young ladies being visited by a tiny envoy of love..a naked winged Cupid accompanied by white doves. The ladies watch from their balcony as Cupid rings the doorbell.
Entitled 'Postillon d'Amour' (Post Boy of Love), it is by German artist Hans Zatska (1859-1945)and signed bottom left.
Published by Ackermann, Kunstverlag, Munchen it is numbered 674.
With minor corner bumps it is in good Antique condition.
