This beautiful fantasy postcard depicts a lovely young maiden with flowing pink gown. She is being entwined in flowers and leaves by two small winged cherubs. She stands under a willow tree beside a stylized stream.
This is obviously an artist piece and appears to be signed in very small letters in the lowest right hand leaf, but I cannot make out the name of the artist.
Stamped, franked and hand dated 1912 it is pre WW1 and most likely of slightly earlier publication as the design is very much in the Art Nouveau style.
Published by AC in series 64 it is printed in Saxony and posted to an address in Vosges, France.
The condition is fair with corner and edge wear and corner bends lower left.
