This beautiful Victorian Gold Fill Bar Brooch has a full set of slightly blurred (and almost unreadable) Hallmarks..what looks like T6 and .375 and my jeweller advises me it is a low Karat Gold fill over 925 (Sterling) silver and I can just make out .925 in the Hallmarks.
The design is a series of small linked hollow loops with a hollow Puffy Heart at the centre. This is topped off with a tiny bow of fine gold wire.
At the centre of the heart is a Diamond (again checked out by my jeweller). It is faceted with an 'old fashioned' cut and deeply set, so is larger than it appears.
Measuring 1 3/4" x 3/4" and weighing 3gms the Brooch has the original pin and C clasp..and with no damage is in very good Antique condition.
