In the Etruscan Revival style (most popular between 1860 and 1885) is this very pretty 9 Carat Rose Gold Bar Brooch Pin.
Dating to c1880 it is marked 9.375 (for 9 Carat gold) and has the Birmingham Hallmark of an Anchor.
With three tiny raised flowers, fine Italianate wire work roping and finely etched leaves it is a work of art in miniature.
The C clasp is original but the white metal pin is a later addition.
There are a couple of issues..where the pin has been braised onto the back of the Brooch there is some discoloration, also slightly visible on the left hand front end and one tiny piece of roping is missing. I have taken the damage into account when pricing.
There is an all-over patina of age but the Rose Gold would polish up beautifully.
Measuring 1 3/4" x 5/8" it is in good Antique condition or its age.
