Man in the Moon Brooch Arts and Crafts era.
This very unique Man in the Moon Brooch dates to the Arts and Crafts movement c1900.
The Brooch is very light but crafted from silver (marked TF SIL) in the shape of a fine crescent shaped moon with a very detailed repousse (pressed) image of a man's face in profile at its centre.
Measuring 2" x 1/2" it has the original C clasp and pin holder verso, but I think the pin itself could be a replacement.
With a fine aged patina the condition is good.
Gender: Female, Age Group: Adult, Color: silver, Size: 2" x 1/2"
