Created to advertise the London premier of the musical comedy 'The Pearl Girl', the design of this lovely early Art Deco Postcard is based on a work by Dudley Hardy.
It features a pretty young actress draped in pale blue voile, emerging from a large pearl shell, against a deep purple background.
The actress is Cicely Courtneige and the play was produced by her husband Robert Courtneige and written by Basil Hood. It premiered in London in 1913 at the Shaftesbury theatre.
Published by Haycock-Cadle Co, London it is postally un-used and clean verso.
With some mild corner bumps it is in good Antique condition.
