From the 1913 edition of famed British arts magazine 'The Studio' comes this two sided engraving offer. Both with an Oriental flavour.
One side features 'Idle Hours' by the Egyptian born American artist Henry Siddons Mowbray (1858-1928).
Created in 1895 it depicts two lovely young women as they relax with a lute and their pet Tortoises. Both are dressed in stunning Japanese kimono.
The subject measures 7" x 5".
On the Verso (reverse) is another wonderful engraving entitled 'The Brown Kimono'.
By American artist Irving R Wiles (1861-1948) it also features a lovely lady in a Japanese kimono and is a portrait of Kathryn Beta la Forque created in 1908.
The subject measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".
With a full sheet measurement of 11" x 8" both images are beautiful and in very good Antique condition. The choice of which to frame is up to you.
