By the Iconic French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901) is this early 20th century postcard of a typical Parisian street scene of c1900.
Entitled La Place Clichy it features a group of four young women in the foreground in front of a large crowd gathered around a 14 metre tall statue of the Marechal de Moncey, who defended Paris against an onslaught of foreign armies in 1814.
They are dressed in the garb of the late 1800's. Current photos of this area show it to be unchanged over the past 100 years.
Signed lower left it is clean verso and postally un-used.
With mild corner bumps it is in good Antique condition.
