This beautiful Art Deco era Pendant Necklace features a pretty filigree silver-tone square base with raised wire work decoration, surrounding a large faceted deep navy blue glass stone with open back and claw setting.
Very likely Czech made it is not signed. And although I believe it is low grade silver it is not marked and I am listing as silver-tone. The chain however is definitely silver-tone and original to the piece.
Measuring 24" clasp to clasp the Pendant itself is 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" and the setting is convex. The large round glass stone is 3/4" across and the entire setting raises the glass stone to 3/4" above the filigree backing.
I have seen a few filigree wirework necklaces from this era..but the unique deep navy color combined with the convex setting make this one quite unique.
