Found in a Paris flea market many years ago..this very pretty Art Nouveau Mirror Slide Keeper Pendant dates to c1895.
In a repousse 'pressed' design featuring a lovely young woman with upswept hair and a decorative coronet..the style is Grecian Revival.
She is set in a frame of the leaves and berries of the Maiden Hair tree (Ginko Biloba).
The decorative front and the 'Mirror/keeper' back are joined by a simple rivet loop with a small round bale. Giving the back a swing of 360 degrees.
Measuring 1 1/4" in radius it could have originally held a photo or small mirror..but is now empty awaiting your tiny treasure or keepsake.
The metal is not Hallmarked and is untested, but I believe it is low grade European silver plate. The Antique condition is good.
