By Scottish painter Osmond Pittman (1874-1958) is this lovely early 20th century art magazine print entitled 'A Procession of the Seasons'.
It features two beautiful bare foot Art Nouveau maidens in stylized Medieval dress strolling through a walled garden full of trees. One in blue/grey represents Autumn and the other in pale green has blossoms in her hair and represents Spring. Although painted c1900 they are in the style of the Pre Raphaelite painters of 1850 and very reminiscent of works by JW Waterhouse.
Measuring 11" x 7 1/2" and with the Studio Magazine blind stamp of authenticity lower right it is in very good Antique condition.
The Studio was a fine Arts illustrated Magazine, published in London from 1893 to 1964. International in concept, it presented the work of artists and designers to a wide audience.
