This beautiful Art Nouveau French issue Postcard is by the famed and mysterious British illustrator..Eva (Evangaline Mary) Daniell (1880-1902).
It features a beautiful Art Nouveau maiden in a flowing voile gown surrounded by doves. The illustration is enhanced by the addition of fine gilding.
Stamped, franked and hand dated 1902 it is addressed to Vienne (Vienna, Austria) with a wonderful message in French on the front.
Un-signed (but definitely by Daniell), and issued by Raphael Tuck et Fils, it is printed in Paris and serie 176 and has the Tuck tiny logo bottom left .
With very minor corner bumps it is in very good Antique condition and is a rare masterpiece from an era long gone.
I have another by this wonderful artist NN807.
