Artist Nymph Polish Postcard 'Goplana'
This beautiful antique postcard, by Polish artist T Pilecki is titled simply 'Goplana'; which in Polish means Nymph. It could have been designed simply for the nymph-like maiden who is sitting amongst reeds in a pond and surrounded by Swallows. Or it could have been designed as an early advertising postcard for the Polish chocolate company 'Goplana'..named after its home town in Poland.
Either way it features a beautiful semi-clad young woman with birds in her long blond hair.
With a Polish stamp and unreadable franking it has some small paper adhesion's verso, where it has been stuck into an album at some time.
One of these obscures some of the editors detail but it was published by Ripper and numbered 161.
The Antique condition is good.
