These early twentieth century pieces of a bygone era are a part of Mid-America's transportation history. I have yet to determine exactly if they are directly related to the horsecar or the streetcar industry of early Council Bluffs Iowa. I do know they are all pre-Korean war and presumably pre-WW2. Most of the blurred information available lends itself to the years between 1917 and 1952. I would presume these to be of the 1940's - 1950's Bus or Coach era. Promoting Street Car use with the slogan: "KEEP 'EM ROLLING When you CAN, use a Street Car instead of a Bus, PLEASE MOVE BACK."
