These early twentieth century pieces of a bygone era are a part of Mid-America's transportation history. I have yet to determine exactly if they are directly related to the horsecar or the streetcar industry of early Chicago Illinois. The signature of J. E (or V)(see photo) Sullivan as Chairman of CSL would tend to suggest that these stubs are from the 1920's. I do know they are all pre-Korean war and presumably pre-WW2. Most of the blurred information available lends itself to the years between 1917 and 1952. Please feel free to ask any questions or request more pictures as I am in no way an expert in this field. In my opinion the condition is Excellent - Near Mint. Serial numbers of the tickets included: 025707, 112435, 122724, 123074, 145923, 158036 and 392258.
