This really cool and rare pair of signed Napier earrings, vintage early 1950s, are Medieval Gothic Revival in design and each earring features 18 lengths of oval link, silver plated chains that dangle (like chainmail or maille for Knight's armor/armour), as well as bars (one with small dumb bells on each end) adorned with open cut arches and half circles.
Each entire earring measures 2.5" inches long X 1.25" inches at the widest point. The articulated bottom portion of each earring sways nicely and measures 1 5/8" inches long. Inside of clips are hallmarked "NAPIER". Since there is no copyright symbol on these, it dates them to pre-1955. Clips work well and fit nicely with lever mechanism intact. Earrings tested positive for silver plate. Great patina! This chic Napier pair is in excellent condition.
