Presented with their original box from McCoy's Silver & Jewelry shop at the Hotel Emporio in Mexico City, Mexico, is this mid-century modernist pair of angel fish earrings. Each angel fish is made with wavy stripes of copper, brass and sterling silver that have been fused together through a special process.
This delightful pair of screw back earrings were purchased in the early 1950's at the Hotel Emporio, a special place that is still one of the most exclusive hotels in Mexico City today.
Earrings measure 1" inch tall X 7/8" of an inch wide. Back of one earring is hallmarked "STERLING 925 MADE IN MEXICO". Excellent condition! Comes with original box, which measures 1.75" inches square X 1" high.
