This late 1960's vintage set from New York City designer, Accessocraft, features jet black, faceted glass beads interspersed with rondelles with a japanned black setting, channel set with round chaton, clear sparkling rhinestones. The necklace has 7mm wide barrell rondelles and the earrings have two donut shaped ones, as well as unique tear drop shaped rondelles.
The necklace has a wearable length of 15" inches and the drop earrings measure 2 3/8" inches long X 1/2" (13mm) at their widest point. At the earring stud, there is a cluster of 8 small and one large clear rhinestone, like a diamond flower with petals. A single jet bead dangles from the bottom of each earrings. These screw adjustable lever back clips are hallmarked "Accessocraft N.Y.C." on the screw heads (See last photo). Necklace has a swirled, silver tone slide in clasp, adorned with a large, black jet faceted stone. Necklace is unsigned but was purchased with the Accessocraft earrings as a set back in the late 60's. All pieces are in excellent condition.
NOTE: These same Accessocraft earrings were purchased from my collection less than a year ago by an AMC TV show (Set in the 1960's) - they should show up in one of this coming season's episodes!
