This Lanvin-inspired, signed Trifari piece is runway hot (and RARE to find!), with swirled, marbled green lucite infused with a little white for a flawed emerald look. Rounded square lucite piece is attached to a gold plated base, in a door knocker style shape. This modernist pendant, which measures 3.25" inches tall X 1 5/8" inches wide, is suspended from a gold plated snake chain, measuring about 22" inches long.
The same necklace can be found on page 116 of the book, "Popular Jewelry of the '60s, '70s, & '80s" by Roseann Ettinger.
Trifari crown over the letter "T" key tag dangles near the spring ring clasp. Back of pendant is hallmarked "Trifari" with the copyright symbol. This iconic 1970's mod necklace is in pristine, excellent condition. Wow!
NOTE: I also have this Trifari pendant necklace in black lucite with gold plating (RL-000395), another rare color to find of this design!
