This vintage 1950's signed Vendome flower bouquet brooch is a wonderful and unusual piece for Vendome, particularly with the large oval glass stones that come to a point with the faceting on both sides. They are prong set open back in gold plate. These two large flowers are accented by a three-dimensional, structural spray of small flowers and leaves in topaz brown, jonquil yellow and citrine orange rhinestones, all prong set. The larger marquis rhinestone leaves have fancy dog tooth prongs. The final flourish is a pair of finely brush textured, gold plated leaves towards the bottom of the bunch of flowers, accented by a large citrine stone, with three stems sweeping below it.
This magnificent and rare Vendome brooch measures an impressive 3 3/8" inches tall X 2" inches at its widest point. Back is hallmarked "Vendome" on a raised, oval cartouche. This exquisite and highly detailed brooch is in excellent condition. This is a stupendous piece for your fall wardrobe!
