This scarce, signed Kramer of New York set features reverse set or inverted stones (pointy side up!), prong set in black japanned settings. Schreiner is best known for using inverted stones in their designs, but Kramer also produced some pieces with these upside down set stones. The effect is fabulous and very sparkly!
Stones are smokey topaz and clear, in large and small round shapes. The bracelet has seven fleurettes linked together, each one with a smoky topaz center, surrounded by alternating clear and topaz stones. Bracelet width is 1" inch and wearable length is 7.25" inches.
Brooch is highly domed, measuring 1.75" inches across and it rises up 1" inch. Large stones measure 1/2" an inch or 12mm across. Both pieces are hallmarked "Kramer" on a raised oval cartouche. Both pieces are in pristine, excellent condition. Very rare to find! Price is firm on this set.
