This rare-to-find, vintage 1958 Judy Lee bracelet boasts art glass cabochons that look like fiery Australian opals! The glass cabs are dark blue-green in hue and are embellished with gold flakes inside them. These cabs, as well as peridot green and blue-green aurora borealis round chaton rhinestones, are all set in a brushed, textured gold tone setting, with the appearance of figural leaves. Each leaf has curvy, notched edges for detail.
Bracelet is shown on page 376 of book, "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202 second edition" by Julia C. Carroll.
This neat bracelet is 1.5" inches wide, and it has a wearable length of 8" inches. Back of clasp is unsigned on this one, but I have had this bracelet before, and I show a photo of the other one I had that was signed Judy Lee, for your reference. The clasp on this one must have been lost at some point and replaced with a plain one. It is in excellent condition.
Judy Lee bracelets, in particular, have become highly collectible and much sought after by collectors in the past few years and their prices continue to rise. This is one of Judy Lee's more coveted designs!
