Fabulous Vintage Native American hand made sterling silver ring featuring a lustrous Hawk's or Falcon's Eye stone. Along with carved out 'Bird in Flight' accents down each side of the wide band, make this an incredibly well crafted piece. The bird is symbolic of ones quest to 'soar higher to see the the bigger picture, not to get caught up in the small things, seeking knowledge and a vision'. Oxidizing of the recesses highlights the details wonderfully. The stone with the details of the ring are the perfect combination.
Often referred to as Blue Tiger's eye, this stone is known for its chatoyancy or 'eye of the hawk' appearance. It is actually the beginning from which the brown Tiger's eye is formed and exhibits the same iridescent bands, only with blue-greens or-grays, the browns are from the presence of iron oxides. Honestly, looks amazing as the light hits it.
