A fabulous ca. 1980's necklace featuring a multitude of feathers or leaves dangling from intricate interlocking links. Twenty one alternating short and long charms command the center of attention. The feathers are designed with a hammered side and a smooth side adding to the interesting look. The links connect to form three levels in creating this bib, with the charms dropping down from the bottom two levels. It has a matte gold tone plated finish.
This was acquired from an individual who had worked at a high end department store in the 80's & 90's. This is an item she originally purchased. I don't believe it was ever worn, as it still has the original paper tag accompanying it. Carol Dauplaise worked for Miriam Haskell from 1959 to 1978 until she left to start her own company.
Measures 17 1/2" in length. From the main strand to the bottom of the charms hangs down 2 1/2".
In excellent vintage condition. A wonderful addition for the collector of 80's to 90's designer pieces.
