Elegant and Early David Andersen Enameled Paure
This very early and unique set from David Andersen is simply stunning! The hallmark on the bracelet dates to the companies makers mark with the very early smith tools mark used from the 1888 to the 1925 period.Although the most unusual designed necklace is unmarked there is no denying it completely belongs with the bracelet and shares the same time period. The earrings do though come from a latter time period, approx, 1930's. The complete set is marked 925S and is in perfect condition. The panels on the necklace and bracelet are much slimmer and more delicate then the newer versions of this long loved design. Though this design has been around for almost 100 years and in different color schemes ,I have always felt the red and black motif the most dramatic and compelling. The necklace measures 16 1/2" and the bracelet 7 3/4".
Gender: Female, Age Group: Adult, Color: red, black and gold, Size: 16 1/2"
