Now I may be going out on a limb here but..... you can decide. This 1883 very likely Scott stamp #211d is used and has been hinged, with hinge still attached. Two very pronounced features lead me to believe I am correct in my assumption. One is the very deep and dark blue green color so notable on these rare stamps. The second and most tell tale sign is shown on the back photo of the stamp, the soft porous paper. They were made in 1882 by the American Bank Note Company on a soft porous paper without gum. Any further questions or comments are deeply appreciated.
