This pristine Catholic pilgrimage rosary is from the Basilica of St. Anne de Beaupre near Quebec City, Canada. Bright, sparkling and in virtually unused condition, it comes with a white leather pouch in which it was likely stored since acquisition.
The well-sized, sky blue ave beads are nicely faceted and cut into an elegant pear shape. Oval o-rings that match the chain are used between each bead adding length and sophistication to this beautiful devotional. The clear, round pater beads are adorned with two pierced, floral bead caps. Look closely and you will see that all bead pins have closed, twisted loops, ensuring the durability and strength of the rosary.
All components and findings are silver tone metal that is bright, shiny and free from blemishes. At the center is a large, oval scapular medal profiling Jesus and His Sacred Heart and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on the verso. The plain, squared crucifix is dominated, appropriately, by the full-mold corpus of silvered pot metal with an INRI banner as its only ornamentation. The verso is engraved, "Ste. Anne de Beaupre."
Large and lovely in every way, this would be a great rosary for daily use or for hanging in a sunny location to brighten your day. Comes boxed and ready for religious gift-giving.
