An antique shoe charm consisting of two separate brass enamel shoes hanging from one bail. This is an early gilt brass charm dating to 1900 or earlier when brass items from charms to needle cases were made with incredible detail and are now hard to find. This unique shoe charm is composed of two tiny shoes, each measuring 9/16" by 1/4". The shoes are textured and have raised rims of detail that are then filled in with multi colored enamel in two shades of blue, both dark and turquoise; red, bright green, and off white with much of the gilt golden color adding more vivid color. The bottoms of the shoes are also detailed showing the sole and also a patch on each shoe. There are tiny bits of the enamel missing here and there but this is only noticeable with a loop. A great hard to find Victorian or Edwardian charm.
