An unusual vintage or antique sterling Judaica charm with a beautifully detailed etched rose on one side and a Hebrew message inscribed on the other in very nice script style Hebrew font. Judaica charms are hard to come upon and this one is very unique and most likely hand made. I tried but had difficulty trying to translate the message even using translation sites that allow you to type in the Hebrew characters from a keyboard. I was not sure of which side was the beginning, as true Hebrew is read right to left but many will still use the Western left to right. The first time I did get something about Jehovah, but when I tried again, I am quite sure that "He does not perspire" is not the intended message! Perhaps if someone knows the meaning of this inscription, they can let me know. The charm is unmarked but tests for sterling silver. The charm measures 1/2" in diameter and weighs 1.3 grams. This is a classic charm size and weight and it will fit in well on a bracelet of other charms. It has its original hanging bail. The side with the Hebrew message has a bit of tarnish visible on the side.
