A Victorian or early Edwardian 10K larger puffy heart charm or pendant with a fancy engraved monogram MP. The engraving is hand done and made up of tiny horizontal filled in lines that give depth and thickness to the old Gothic font. The charm is marked on the back edge the way that puffy heart charms are marked sterling but the mark is 10K and a makers mark, which is a small rounded bottomed "w" within a "smaller than" symbol before it and a "greater than" symbol after it. The mark is visible in the photos but please note that it is upside down. It is larger than the average heart charm measuring 3/4" by 3/4". There is a little bit of fine scratching that can be seen in the photos that the camera brought out, but this is not visible with the naked eye without a strong magnifying glass or jeweler's loop. It weighs 1.6 grams.
