Antique Greco-Roman Cameo Brooch Pendant, 10k gold
This is a beautiful antique cameo set in 10K yellow with a bust of a lovely Greco-Roman woman. Her hair is garlanded with roses. She has a handsome profile with a subtle smile.
The frame has a thin rope twist on the bottom edge and a prominent twist garland on the outside edge.
The brooch also has a swivel ring so it can be worn as a pendant.
MARKS: On the pin (very tiny mark) 10k and a heart with an S inside. Sorry I couldn’t photo the mark.
DATE: c.1910
CONDITION: Excellent. The pin is a tiny bit bent. There is a line on the right side of the face. It is not a crack, but a line in the shell.
MEASUREMENTS: About 1 ½ inches
