Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story, framed antique engraving
Joseph Story, (1779-1845) was born in Marblehead, MA. He was a lawyer and served on the United States Supreme Court from 1811 until 1845. Before his appointment to the Supreme Court by President James Madison, he served in the US House of Representatives representing Massachusetts.
The three engravings I have are politicians Henry Clay, Joseph Story and Rufus Choate. Please note that I offer combined shipping.
This engraving was probably taken out of a book by a previous owner. The engraving was in a damaged frame. The engraving is glued to cardboard. I had this and the other two engravings re-framed in the current black wooden frame.
CONDITION: Excellent but not original. Please note remarks above.
MEASUREMENTS: About 12 1/8 inches x 10 5/8.
