Senator Henry Clay of Kentucky, framed engraving
A distinguished politician, lawyer and orator, Henry Clay (1777-1852) represented Kentucky in both the House of Representatives(where he was Speaker of the House) and the US Senate. He was Secretary of State under John Quincy Adams. Clay ran for President three times.
The three engravings I have are politicians Henry Clay, Joseph Story and Rufus Choate. Please note that I offer combined shipping.
This engraving was probably taken out of a book by a previous owner. The engraving was in a damaged frame. The engraving is glued to cardboard. I had this and the other two engravings re-framed in the current black wooden frame.
CONDITION: Excellent but not original. Please note remarks above.
DATE: Engraving c.1880 New frame
MEASUREMENTS: About 12 1/8 inches x 10 5/8.
