Early ABG Child with Mauve Shadowing, 11 inches
This early solid domed head child doll was made to copy the little French girls of her era for certain, just look at that early painting: pale bisque, shaded lips, large paperweight eyes with mauve shadowing, and a darling little round face. Her bisque head is perfect without any damage or restoration. Her lower bisque arms in cupped position are also excellent condition except the left hand has a few tiny issues, a chipped thumb and two fingers with flakes when yuo turn them upside down to see them. She is on her early kid leather body also fashioned much like the bodies of the early Bru dolls. There are a couple of small kid leather patches visible in the photo.
She wears cotton pantaloons, a full slip, a sweet little antique cotton dress and matching bonnet as well as cotton socks and antique shoes. She really is an adorable little cupcake.
