Gorgeous ABG Doll w Swivel Neck, Glass Eyes, Antique Dress, 20 inches
This is a really stunning early 19th century doll with tinted bisque and molded hair on her original body and wearing what looks like an original dress. She has spiral threaded cobalt blue eyes, feathered brows, a closed mouth with full rosy cheeks and painted upper and lower lashes and pierced ears. She has a short, full curly hairstyle with deep modeling with an Alice headband. Her bisque swivel head and shoulder plate are both in perfect condition.
She is on an antique stitch jointed cloth body with gorgeous long red leather boots and lower leather arms with all fingers present. Her left hand has a kid leather patch repair. She wears antique undies and a lovely original printed cotton dress. The dress shows wear in many areas where there is fabric shredding and a few spots where the outer fabric has worn through. Please look at photos. I would still not remove her original dress if she were mine. It is a lovely early 1870's style for a young lady.
