Offered is a 15 inch, nicely modeled German character Marie by Kammer and Reindhardt, mold 101.
She has a perfect bisque socket head with free of damage or restoration (a few shallow surface wig pulls and some paint skips under wig). Her head is marked: K*R 101 39. Her face features crisp modeling, heavy-lidded painted blue eyes with upper eyeliner, one-stroke tapered brows, and a closed mouth with full lips in a solemn expression. She retains an original mohair wig and cardboard pate.
She is on her original K*R ball jointed composition body with excellent original finish. No repaints or repairs and all fingers and toes present. She wears a lovely antique dress made of a fine red and white print cotton voile, antique red shoes socks and antique undies.
This wistful little girl is a very nice example of this mold and is dressed in a perfect circa 1910 dress.
